FYI...whats
being baked in the Marketside kitchen is bread, pastries, cakes,
cookies, squares and tarts, all made with spelt flour grown in the
bruce penninsula region. How exciting is that????

The Harvest

The harvest is on in the region and we have been having fun sourcing some local ingredients for some real yummies!!!
For this season we are preparing:

•  butternut squash soup
• curried red lentil soup
•  roasted root and quinoa pie 
•  eggplant baba ghanouj
•  antipasto
•  red pepper ziipastii preserve
•  apple tart (in a spelt pastry)
•  cranberry anise spelt bread
•  spelt sage focaccia
